One of the best Airbnb properties I have stayed in. The layout, furnishings and amenities were fantastic. High ceilings and large windows created a beautiful, light-filled space that felt open and calm… It’s a place with great vibes and good taste that quickly makes you feel at home.

The house is beautiful, exactly as in the photos, and has everything you need; the location is great. María Fernanda was always attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time in Mérida. María Fernanda made it even more special — she was an excellent host. Her house was absolutely beautiful and well equipped. We can’t wait to come back!

I had an amazing stay at Maria’s Airbnb in Mérida. The property was spotless everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed while still feeling safe and peaceful. Parking was available every day right in front of the house which was a big plus The beds were very comfortable, and the home had everything we could possibly need, especially in the kitchen it was fully equipped and made our stay so convenient. Check-in was easy and the place was very easy to find. Maria was a wonderful host very communicative, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mérida!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Esmeralda. Maria was a terrific host. The home is elegant, comfortable, spacious, and inviting. We were a family of four staying for five nights. The airbnb would also be a great fit for couples traveling together, since each room is in its own “zone,” so there’s a lot of privacy. The central area by the pool, under the shade of an orange tree, made the home feel like a true oasis. A/C and wifi worked great. All the amenities were top-notch (plus we really appreciated having access to a washer & dryer). The location is especially convenient if you plan to spend time at the bustling Mercado Municipal (Lucas Galvez), and it offers a chance to experience a truly everyday, lived-in part of the city rather than a polished tourist area. We had a great stay! Thanks, Maria.

Everything was exactly as presented in the listing, and Maria and her team were very friendly and responsive. The space was modern and beautiful, toiletries were locally made and smelled great (rosemary), air conditioners worked well, the pool was clean, and the rooms were quiet! There was plenty of water and towels provided, and the internet was fast. Everything was clean, parking on the street was easy, and the neighborhood felt safe. Stores and restaurants are a short walk away, and the airport wasn't far. Overall I had a fantastic stay and would love to come back when I return to Merida!

We had a great stay at Casa Esmeralda. The owners were very responsive and helped us with any little worry we had very quickly. Very kind people. Check in was a breeze with their exterior code locks. The home is basically new and well decorated, it was nice to have the pool and courtyard as our little oasis in the city. We found the location to be a good jumping off location to get places. And enjoyed coffee next-door at beautiful café in the hostel Escentrike. We also had a great dinner at Solon Gallos which is very close and super cool. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, air conditioners very cold, great fluffy towels, and kitchen well stocked with basics.

This place was so perfect for us. So comfortable, an excellent place to cool down and relax in the afternoon between adventures nearby. Maria was an excellent host. She was so responsive. She recommended and helped us to arrange a great driver to take us to the beach for the day. He was super professional and friendly. The location was central to everything, easy to walk or catch a short Uber where we wanted to go. There’s a great bakery a few blocks south, a little corner store for the necessities 1 block east, Paseo de Montejo a few blocks west, great for strolling when the sun sets. I can’t recommend this spot enough. I would stay here again.

Truly enjoyed our stay in Merida! The house is spacious, comfortable and impeccably designed. We each had a very separate space with our own bathrooms and could still gather collectively. We also worked remotely for a few days of the trip and I can confirm that the internet is outstanding/ fully capable of hosting video calls. Will definitely think of this place when we plan our next trip to Merida!

Maria's place was absolutely precious! We loved everything about it. The decor is beautiful. The tile, the breeze blocks, the dipping pool, the outside bathtub, the kitchen, the bedrooms, everything was so well-appointed. Also, Maria was so easy to work with and talk to. She's friendly and informative! I highly recommend this casa!

Maria’s place is truly a gem! Love the layout of the property, great for couples where there are both common spaces for everyone to enjoy the company of each other as well as separate and private quarters. The pool is a nice value added but is moreso for cooling off as opposed to swimming. The linens, towels, and beds were so cozy. I would say it’s a 15 minute walk to the plaza grande and even closer to restaurant row (Calle 47). Maria was super responsive and I would definitely stay at her place again!
