Casa Terra is an architectural gem in Mérida’s historic center, just two blocks from Prolongación Paseo de Montejo and three from Parque La Plancha. Fully restored, it preserves the authenticity of its original design while adding every modern comfort.
High ceilings, masonry details and a contemporary aesthetic that reflects the Yucatecan way of life. The double-height living room opens onto an inner courtyard with a private pool, surrounded by greenery and clay lattices.
Both bedrooms have a king-size bed, a full bathroom and air conditioning; one of them is on the second floor. Upstairs, a private rooftop with a jacuzzi to enjoy the warm weather and city views.
The kitchen is fully equipped — including a Nespresso machine — and there is a washing machine and high-speed Wi-Fi for longer stays. The entire house is yours: pool, rooftop and jacuzzi included.

I had an amazing stay at Maria’s Airbnb in Mérida. The property was spotless everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed while still feeling safe and peaceful. Parking was available every day right in front of the house which was a big plus The beds were very comfortable, and the home had everything we could possibly need, especially in the kitchen it was fully equipped and made our stay so convenient. Check-in was easy and the place was very easy to find. Maria was a wonderful host very communicative, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mérida!
Everything was exactly as presented in the listing, and Maria and her team were very friendly and responsive. The space was modern and beautiful, toiletries were locally made and smelled great (rosemary), air conditioners worked well, the pool was clean, and the rooms were quiet! There was plenty of water and towels provided, and the internet was fast. Everything was clean, parking on the street was easy, and the neighborhood felt safe. Stores and restaurants are a short walk away, and the airport wasn't far. Overall I had a fantastic stay and would love to come back when I return to Merida!
This place was so perfect for us. So comfortable, an excellent place to cool down and relax in the afternoon between adventures nearby. Maria was an excellent host. She was so responsive. She recommended and helped us to arrange a great driver to take us to the beach for the day. He was super professional and friendly. The location was central to everything, easy to walk or catch a short Uber where we wanted to go. There’s a great bakery a few blocks south, a little corner store for the necessities 1 block east, Paseo de Montejo a few blocks west, great for strolling when the sun sets. I can’t recommend this spot enough. I would stay here again.
Maria's place was absolutely precious! We loved everything about it. The decor is beautiful. The tile, the breeze blocks, the dipping pool, the outside bathtub, the kitchen, the bedrooms, everything was so well-appointed. Also, Maria was so easy to work with and talk to. She's friendly and informative! I highly recommend this casa!
The location couldn’t be better: on one side, steps from Paseo de Montejo and its award-winning restaurants; on the other, steps from La Plancha park. Our family includes two dogs, and both enjoyed the house and the walks around the neighborhood.

Casa Terra was everything we could have wanted for our stay in Mérida! The central location made getting anywhere in the city super convenient. This home is also very spacious and welcoming! The house is spectacular: spacious, beautiful and with incredible style. Everything was impeccably clean and well kept. The service was excellent, always with great communication and thoughtful touches. The location is perfect, just minutes from one of Mérida's main avenues, which makes it easy to get anywhere. Overall, an incredible experience. Highly recommended — I would definitely come back!
We enjoyed our week-long stay at Maria's place in Merida! The place is gorgeously decorated, with new appliances and furniture. One of the bedrooms comes with an outdoor bathtub which is a delight to our child who hates showers. The location is in a cul-de-sac but easily walkable to downtown and we walked around in the evening. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place for any family visiting Merida.
10/10 stay in Merida. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was a joy to cook in, showers poured perfectly! Here felt like home away from home. I loved the layout of the apartment and our boys enjoyed the pool! Definitely booking again!
Stunning house! Architecture, interior & decoration are beautiful. Very close to the Main Street where you’ll find art, restaurants and bars - a 3 minute walk. The house was clean, everything you need is provided. Maria was always helpful and easy to contact. Thank you for everything 💕
